For that matter, the newly released ath9k driver supports all the new 802.11n-capable wireless chipsets from Atheros.

Sure. Things are looking great for freedom when it comes to Atheros wireless devices. However, the new models of Eee which have wireless N won't use ath9k, but the GPL'd RT2860 driver from Ralink as noted on http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/Model/901 .

Any chance of the Elantech mouse driver getting integrated into the release? This driver should work on 900, 901, and 1000.

A bunch of us on forum.eeeuser.com have ported this from Xandros to Ubuntu...it is included with this diff.
